After the boodle fight, the adventure starts, Piancavallo is situated to the North of Pordenone, 1260 meters above sea level at the foot of Mount Tremol and a fraction of Aviano. The views of the typical Dolomite landscape are delightful. This Friuli Dolomites Nature Park is an excellent place for hiking, trekking, and mountaineering. They have children’s activities as well.
To reach the top, you have to ride the chairlift about 5 kilometers. During our visit, the sun is shy to rise we haven’t got see the beauty sunkissed plateau panoramic. But I think the mountain offered was perfect. Aside from the chairlift, we also ride the Alpine Coaster shall we call the railtrack bob-sleigh. It’s where my friends have the loudest, craziest scream of excitement :)
